Harmful or Problematic Sexual Behaviour Early Intervention
What is this?
This is a strengths-based intervention for children and young people who have exhibited Problematic or Harmful sexual behaviours or where there are concerns around these behaviours.
Working within a neuroaffirming, trauma-informed and non-judgemental framework to support children and young people away from these behaviours, creating better outcomes for the individual themselves as well as for those who may otherwise be adversely impacted.
Who is it for?
Individually, therapy will be with children from around age 12 – this also depends on the ability of the child to access the therapy. Applications for this short-term therapy will be considered on an individual basis, to ensure that it is a suitable intervention.
What is the package we are offering?
Each package is flexible and tailored to the individual. Our main offers are:
- Over 12s. A package of 50 mins each. Sessions will be 1:1 to ensure full engagement. We will work together to identify and address the root of problematic behaviours and to create healthier alternatives to fulfil unmet needs.
- Under 12s. Similar to our Over 12s package but adjusted to suit younger children who often present as more complex both in root causes and their need for greater delicacy with the subject matter. Sessions will be 1:1 and last 30-40 mins.
- Technology Assisted HSB (over 12s only). 3 sessions of 60 mins. Working 1:1 to address online behaviours and digital safety, including Digital Safety plan.
Who will be delivering this?
