Therapeutic Family Work
What is this?
This work will consider the whole family system using family therapy tools, looking at the relational patterns in the family and working with them to identify changes they would like to make.
Who is it for?
Parents and their child(ren). This work can be effective for a range of child and adult focused problems, including:
- School related difficulties
- Relationship distress
- Attachment
What is the package we are offering?
A package of therapeutic family sessions, working towards agreed goals. This will often be fortnightly to monthly to allow time for the family to put in place the changes they have identified and then for us to further reflect on it.
There may be occasions that difficulties are more complex and families may need longer to embed solutions. We are also developing bespoke services for more complex families, which will include more clinical formulation and use of a reflecting team which is often powerfully effective. This will take place on our site.
